LT. GEN SALIHU IBRAHIM, (RTD)

Chairman

An officer and a Gentleman indeed. Lt Gen Salihu Ibrahim started his career in the army as a boy soldier in 1956 and rose through the ranks to the exalted rank of a Lt General. Prior to his retirement in 1993 he was the Commandant, Nigeria Defence Academy (1988 - 1990) and Chief of Army staff (COAS) (1990 - 1993).

After his retirement he was appointed a Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of council University of Ilorin. He has bagged many honorary degrees and several decorations including Fellow, Higher War College, Egypt, UN Medal – Meritorious Service, Congo, and the National honor of the Commander of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. He is on the board of several Companies and presently the Chairman of the Company.
